CHO Program Support Staff

Full/ Part-time, Permanent positions available
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly
CHO Program Support staff will work with clients in the community with social and recreational activities, financial, healthcare appointments. Work in the home supporting clients every other weekend, case management and administration duties.
Staff will be responsible for day to day duties which includes supporting clients with activities of daily living, preparing meals, cleaning, laundry, medication, and appointment management, note taking reporting to CHO management. Other duties as required in maintaining the home and property.
Candidates Must be 18 years or older, with minimum require Grade 12 education or equivalent, SSW, DSW, PSW preferred. First Aid/ CPR, Safe Food Handling Certificate, Current Police Check with V.P.S. Drivers License with 2 million liability.
Good computer skills, time management, and communication skills an asset.
The shifts available are: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and 10:00 pm – 8:00 am {sleep shift}. 7 days a week, every other weekend shifts required. 21- 35 hours per week.
Benefits provided after 3 month probationary period, flexible work schedule. Meals included during scheduled shifts.
Full-time hours: 35 per week

Case Manager Positions – Contract
Resilience Mental Health Services advocates with, and provides programs and services for, people with mental health disorders, to enhance, maintain, and promote the mental health of all individuals and communities in Huron and Perth Counties.
Case Managers are responsible for providing individualized and highly flexible support to people who have a serious mental illness.
Services are client directed and aimed at improving quality of life through community integration and the recovery process.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in health services or social services
- Experience and knowledge of serious mental illness
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills as well as computer literacy
- Understanding of the Recovery Philosophy
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence and have a dependable motor vehicle
